Diabetic Ulcers

Diabetic wound and ulcer care are vital components to any diabetic’s health care plan. Simple cuts or scrapes or excessive rubbing on the feet can lead to severe, non-healing wounds. Diabetic ulcers and other wounds can lead to severe infection or even amputation of limbs if left untreated. At Ocala Infectious Disease and Wound Center, we provide care for those with non-healing, diabetic ulcers. We offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to those who require advanced care for longstanding wounds. We also offer a range of standard ulcer care, from wound dressing to intravenous antibiotics for those who have contracted an infection from their wounds.
